While schoolgirls admire the 'hot boy from math class' Megan Stammers was having a secret love affair with the teacher 30 year old Jeremy. 

She was reported missing on 20th Sept after not turning up to school Friday-Not home sick or skiving but on the way to France- the love struck schoolgirl ran away with her teacher in hope of being together. Maths teacher , 30 was married when he was taking an interest into the young girl. The two began a secret love affair and ran away together on the ferry from Dover to Calais. Although the two were found in boarding on the way to France the lovers could be anywhere said Sussex Police. 

After a sighting on Thursday , love struck teen Stammers was then discovered in Bordeaux on Friday and taken into protection before being returned to her family. Jeremy was charged with abduction and arrested. There were five sightings before she was found and this was due to media coverage in France.

Parents thrilled as school girl returns home. After flying back from France she was greeted by her distraught mum and step dad. Her disappearance caused devastation among her family but was it her fault? Being fifteen she could be very easily lead and tricked into love. She tells her family of their wedding plans. Jeremy was previously married but let young girl discuss their future wedding plans. The article title "it takes 2 to tango" suggests that she should have been disciplined as she gave consent to run away. Although 15 and the legal age to give consent is 16 , being a few months away from the legal age of consent does this mean that everything would be different if this happened a few months later? Would he be charged with child abduction and suggested manipulation? Although legally a minor at 15 it wouldn't be an 'easy abduction' . Megan could have refused. If she was against why does the image above display the couple holding hands? Should she have been disciplined too , was it really abduction or just a matter of an age restricted relationship causing problems? Jeremy refuses to answer any questions on the subject. Megan pleads innocent.
